Perdió la vida tras sufrir un accidente de tráfico en el kilómetro 11 de la carretera que une las localidades asturianas de Villaviciosa e Infiesto cuando la motocicleta que conducía impactó frontalmente contra una autocaravana. Pese a la rápida intervención de los equipos de emergencia, no fue posible reanimar al joven, que murió prácticamente en el acto.
